Reversible Hammer Mill
Masyc Reversible Hammer Mill is manufactured based on time tested proven technology.
Masyc Reversible Hammer Mill crush material in two stages. First the material is reduced by dynamic impact. Then crushing occurs by attrition and shear in the second zone.
- As feed enters the beating circle of the rotor, it is gripped by the hammer head and is dragged against the breaker plate by series of impact in quick succession causing the first stage of reduction by dynamic impact.
- Second stage crushing takes place in the bottom part of the crusher where attrition takes place. As soon as the rotor attains the selected speed, the beater arms with replaceable hammer achieve the radial position. The hammer mill operates with close clearance between hammers and the breaker plate resulting in crushing by attrition combined with shear and impact reduction.
Application: Masyc Reversible Hammer Mill is used for hard coal, lignite, cooking coal, limestone, gypsum and other soft and medium hard material.
General Feature: Masyc Reversible Hammer Mill is of rugged structural design, easy to maintain, high throughput and low wear. The maximum reduction ratio can be as high as 80:1.
Maintenance: Masyc Reversible Hammer Mill is outfitted with big inspection door for quick inspection inside the crusher. The casing of the hammer mill can be opened hydraulically manually on both side of the rotor. This facilitates to replace all wearing parts with ease.
Unique Design Feature of Masyc Reversible Hammer Mill
Welded casing
Screwed lining with high carbon steel plates.
Hammer path with wear resistant plate which are mechanically/hydraulically adjustable.
Dust proof spherical roller bearing on the rotor shaft.
Hydraulically hinge housing can be provided for opening the casing with ease.
Hammer head made of chrome alloy cast steel or manganese Steel depending upon application.
The grain size of the product can be altered by adjusting the gap between hammers and the breaker plate. This can be done on the top as well as in the bottom
The rotor shaft is of forged steel.
- The throughput specified refers to Hard coal with 90% of the final product smaller than 3 mm.
